How can we start a petition against the 45-month delay in Quebec? There are 42,000 people who already have their CSQ, health card, and everything else, but are still stuck—just waiting—because of a political decision made by the irresponsible CAQ government.

They announced that they want to introduce another bill to reduce the number of permanent residents accepted in Quebec — 35,000 next year, and 25,000 the year after. OMG, this will make the current 45-month delay even longer

You can definitely try. I would personally try anything if I was located in Quebec. Do the petition through the official Quebec National Assembly site. Don't do change.org or other similar petitions. Find an MPP or two who are willing to back your petition. These would normally be opposition party members. Without MPP support a petition won't go anywhere.

Also, did anyone experience issues uploading the picture ? It kept showing me an error “Brightness : too dark or too light” I tried uploading it several times with different brightness levels however that error didn’t go away so I ended up uploading it anyways
Could you send your picture finally?
If yes, how could you do it?
Unfortunately my friends has same problem with yours
I appreciate your assistance

Yes I was able to submit it anyways. There was an error showing at the bottom which stated you may submit it and an IRCC agent might adjust the brightness for you or reject it; just check that off and submit.
I read a few posts on other social media platforms from people, those who were getting same kind of error and they said their Card arrived with no issues! I ended up uploading it after a couple hours of trying to adjust the brightness… still waiting for a response let’s see what happens

Bill C-2, the "Strong Borders Act," aims to restrict asylum claims in Canada. It primarily targets foreign nationals who enter Canada after June 24, 2020, and make an asylum claim more than one year after their arrival or after 14 days if they enter via the US land border. It does not directly affect individuals already recognized as protected persons.

I applied october. I recived both pre arrival and eligibility passed letter in 2024 December After that nothing. My RPCD also expiring next week.
