yes I applied for TR to PR. Based on my understanding, you need to wait for the AOR before you can apply for the open work permit

No need for aor in order to apply for a wp under tr2pr. Just make sure you follow the checklist and attach all the documents needed, there were few people that got refused coz didn’t attach language test etc.

They will accept it, because the documents submitted on the application day need to be valid at the time not for the whole processing time.
I think they are just extending the deadline to fulfill the quotaMore HOPE for temporary immigrants, specially for those are planning to apply for Stream A & B

Canada may extend the deadline of a program created this year to give temporary residents working in key sectors a route to permanent residency, and is considering expanding the program's eligibility to include refugee claimants, Canada's immigration minister told Reuters on Thursday.
More than 14,000 of the 20,000 spots in the healthcare stream of a temporary-to-permanent residency program announced in April were unfilled this week ahead of the Nov. 5 deadline.
"I think we should keep an open mind as to whether or not we should extend (the deadline)," Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Marco Mendicino said in an interview.

You can use either with your UCI# ( located on your work permit and study permit ) or your passport#. You won't link successfully unless your files reached/assigned to an officer, so keep trying
I wanted to apply to the French-speaking International Graduate stream. I took the TEF and needed NCLC Level 5 in all sections. These were my scores:
Compréhension écrite: 184 / 300 (Level 6)
Compréhension orale: 162 / 360 (Level 4)
Expression écrite: 230 / 450 (Level 5)
Expression orale: 306 / 450 (Level 6)
I don't meet the requirements for the Compréhension orale section unfortunately. Has anyone in a similar situation applied? If anyone has any advice as to whether I should submit an application and risk it, please do let me know! Any help is appreciated!
