It says file location ready for PS (Paper Screening - I guess) which I dont know what that means. Also, secondary office it says Ottawa.
exactly same situation as you do. Also the timeline are really similar. File received on Feb 16. Hope we hear some good news soon, I am already working on the BOWP, which another 255CAD is pain in the ass.

PS means Public Safety, which is to my understanding takes 4-8 months but the file needs to move from ready for PS to in PS before you start counting. People mentioned it takes 4 months to move from ready for PS to in PS. when was it marked for ready for PS?

I request my GCMS on Jan.11 and received it on Feb.7, it says READY FOR PS on the notes...I can't believe it still needs at least 4 months for the public security check...heartbreak..

U completed only one year, normal processing time for paper based applicants is 15- 19 months, u r lucky u competed 90% of the process...still January 2018 applicants are waiting for medical request

March 19 AOR..
Nothing after that..
if you are inland and your aor is march 19 then your medical due date is also march 19 2019. so hopefully we should be getting medicals then. my wise guess is people aor jan and feb are being done by ircc this month. so next month should be ours. hang in there thats the only option we have.

it's dated nov 07,2018 so exactly 4 days before I received my Pre Arrival. Well if it takes 4-8 months? It sucks.. :( Im on a closed work permit thats why it sucks big time.

I know, waiting is the hardest part~ I'm just keeping high hopes that everything is completed before the Medical Results expire. But also, my buddy applied June2017 and got her PPR Sept 20 2018, so thats 15mos in total. So theres still hope.

Same with you, no idea what is ready for ps, and same Ottawa office. Hope they can process our apps soon

the trend right now is really hard to understand. Because some get their updates both at the same time, some with a month or two gap etc. But, lets be positve, we are soo close to the finish line.

hi good day everybody,

i got a call from ircc this morning confirming if my daughter is in canada. and i confirmed that. the officer said for landing interview. im just wondering if this is scam. anybody experience this matter? any input is highly appreciated.
