I just found that email from IRCC like below reached my email box.

UCI: xxxxxxxx

This confirms that your application for your Permanent Resident card has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/05/12.

MY NAME

Other Q&A sentences followed in the email.

It seems to me that it is AOR email that I referred to in my previous posting.
If so, my concern was relieved.

Great then! This is exactly the AOR email. If everything went smooth, and they are not requesting additional information, you will be done in a month time. This is as per experience of other forum members recently.

Hi Elie72,

Many thanks for your feedback.
Quick question,

I stayed just 745 days in a row before my application.
I am concerned that it will cause secondary review.

I will need to visit my home country around Nov.

So,I am thinking of requesting urgent processing if my file goes to secondary review,
Do you that it is worthwhile requesting urgent processing via IRCC webform ? or will it not work at all ?
Your thoughts would be very helpful

Hi,

Most of people who requested urgent processing end up IRCC scrutinizing more their files and maybe asking for secondary review. If you can wait, it is better to wait and not to email them.

Hi RUCND,

Congratulation !
It was relatively quick compared with other applications.

Did you receive email from IRCC about your timeline #1,2,3?

My ECAS was updated to ' in processing' but I have not email from IRCC even though ECAS says that they sent
a correspondence to me.

Thanks in advance
Hi,

We only received an email for AOR.
After that no other email o regular mail was sent to us regarding PR card renewal application.
Until we receive the PR cards via mail (Canada Post).

Hi,RUCND

Thanks for your kind explanation

Now my upstanding is that only AOR is sent to email or mail.

How about like other notifications like 1)IRCC's request for sending additional documents to IRCC ' and 2) application was transferred to secondary review' ?

Does it come via email ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Toronto74,

It will take almost 2 months before receiving the AOR email. You are almost there. you will be receiving the AOR email in a couple of days. Then, It will take another month or more to receive the renewed PR card.

Cheers,

Hi elie72
I have applied for PR renewal on April 2015, Received a secondary review notification on Jul 2015. Submitted 4 times Case Query, received same answer. Submitted a request for urgent request with no feedback. Called IRCC service center with the same feedback that I have to wait. Meanwhile I stayed in Canada 3 years with no travel (due to my work). I start believe that my papers are lost. Do you suggest anything to do?

Hi QRY2016,

Before starting a secondary review, did IRCC send you some document requests? Usually, the Secondary Review cases are taking 12-18 months before approving the PR Card renewal. I think in 2 months time, you have to email IRCC as well as call them.

Hi ellie72,
Thanks for your response. No emails received from IRCC requesting any document.
So don't worry. the routine secondary review takes that much time. It will be renewed eventually and hopefully you will receive the renewed card very shortly.
