we submitted upfront on sept 6th, haven't received any response yet.
BG check showing Not started , but I called rep says BG check is in progress.

I also added spouse in Feb 2017 just like you did, we both got MR in Sept, BG is in process since medicals passed. Also dont konw how long its gonna take.
But I think right now it's awkward timing to submit EE since it is gonna take another 6 months, which means even you submit today, it might get approved some time April next year. And you submitted in June 2016, already hit the 16 months mark, I think its worth waiting for another couple of months. But of course, it's up to you. I think I am gonna wait.

but sometimes I am thinking , atleast there is a guarantee of 6 months in EE
everyone suggest me to wait .

Dear, How and where to send additional documents could you further explain please?
Friends one question if some one have two marriages. How will he include both wives in his application simultaneously?
Currently the case of first wife is in process along with applicant, while applicant has made second marriage too and now wants to include the case of his second wife too in his current existing file. is it possible to include second wife's case too in your application? As I believe Canada does not allow to keep two wives simultaneously.
Lastly, if he is not allowed to include second wife and he wants to exclude his first wife and include his second wife in his current existing application, how possible and will be done? Thanks for expert suggestions.

I've seen people's struggle waiting for background check in process, but mine is showing "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." in cic account since medical passed. However, I'd rather it's N/A then when it goes to in process, I will have a rough idea about PPR..

My friend submitted EE on July 24 this year and she got PPR yesterday! It only took 3 months!
I am so disappointed right now and thinking of applying for EE..

are you the one, who suggest me to have faith and patience
don't mind , I know that feeling my friend. its up to you if can afford EE fee and everything but remember one thing that max. processing time is 6 months btw my medical status shows passed yesterday.
and sorry for the wrong info. my BG shows in progress since beginning of my application.
