2016 Applicant

I sent an application to sponsor my wife on Feb. 11, 2016 (the file was delivered the same day by the courier) and after 35 days on March 16, 2016 I received an email that CPC has received my application.

I sent in my husband's and daughter's app on Feb. 11/2016 and received confirmation email yesterday March 16/2016.

Yesterday I received an email from CPC saying that "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in Islamabad for further processing. This visa office was selected based on your relative’s country of nationality and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act." I was told by some people that after the sponsor assessment is done, the file will be forwarded to London UK for further process, but apparently that is not right. My wife's file has been sent to Islamabad instead. Either way it is a good news and I hope you receive this sort of email very soon.
