Sponsorship:

We received your application to sponsor _________ on April 7, 2015.
We started processing your application on May 4, 2015.
We sent you correspondence on May 12, 2015 about the decision on your application.

Permanent Residence
We received __________ application for permanent residence on April 7, 2015
Change of status from Application received to In process August 12,2015


To be honest, I got my SA approved in a week after I received my AOR 1. The only reason it got delayed is because my husband needed additional medical exam. Such a bummer, but we are both hoping this is a good sign ‘cause their initial response was pretty stellar. God bless us all! PATIENCE FOR EVERYONE!=)

Sounds like things are moving along for you quite well.

Although this is a long and sometime frustrating process it will all be worth it in the end.

I thought is was just me that had June 16, 2015 - I was thinking wow no one has done anything since June 16, 2015!!??
Glad to know it isn't just me.

Might mean the last time they updated their site like a version number or something.

I am waiting also. At least your says in process which is normally a positive sign that things are moving forward.

I do not see any applicant getting their paperwork processed in Bogota, Colombia. Well, since June 10th when my husband's sponsorship was approved I have not heard anything other than they received my medical results. How hard it is to be waiting without any idea of when the process is going to go through!
I am on H1 Visa working in the US, my hubby is Canadian. We've been married for eight years. No kids.

Hi Canadianinlove, did they request for your passport already? They got mine last July 22. I guess more patience will help me survive lol If a month passed and I still dont get my passport back Im gonna be frustrated again.

Yeah all we can do is wait, be patience and trust the lord. I also email this morning CEM to see if they can give me a status update on the application but so far got no reply.

I'm not doing anything yet, maybe next week I'll email CEM, for now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Jlizardo - they have not yet requested my hubby's passport. we have had no news at all since the SA letter. We are just waiting patiently (impatiently actually lol). Staying hopeful. Once passport is request things are pretty much smooth sailing. Looks like you will be together soon!

Hi sugeee, I sent my passport appendix a and appendix b which is 2 photos again without any writings on it this time
