Hi, this is tough... My documents were received by Salinas and for some reason they didn't get to the Immigration Section on time... After we shared some messages (receipts of payment for PPC, and RPRF) they told me that they hadn't received the documents yet... In that moment, I provided all the info of the package and they found it... I sent a second package with everything anyway, but I think they are returning it with my passports now...

In summary, it's like a lottery... Try to send "other info" (or probably a digital copy of the most important documents that you sent) and ask "between lines" to make sure that they have everything... I know it's very stressing but it works in the end...

I hope I could give you some pace of mind...

Actually I did both... In the end, they answered that they had received my documents and they were in the queue for review...

I just realized my 2nd line has appeared in ECAS. It was not there yesterday.

"We started processing your application on June 29, 2015."

Do you guys think this might be because of the reception of the docs I've sent ? (Proof of relationship delivered on June 25th, medical's done on May 28, 3rd line was there before the 2nd)

We have sent Proof of relationship, it was received on June 25th, it was signed by "Oasvaldo Salinas" according to DHL. We have asked for a confirmation of the reception of documents (the same day the docs arrived) and they have replied today that due to the high volumes of documents they can't send confirmation of the reception of documents, that I may wish to use a courier service that requieres a signature when delivered and they will contact me as soon as they are ready to proceed to the next stage or if they need more docs.

The thing is that I know some packages have gotten lost. I don't know if to prepare another package already or to wait for some mail from them. We have until July 19th to deliver the docs.

Thabks in advance for any support, I would like to hesr your thoughs.

Hi, do you have the 3rd line already? Where it says the medical forms were received? I'm asking this because mine where received by Osvaldo Salinas as well on May 12th and then the 3rd line appeared saying they received Med Results on March 13th, but it doesnt say anything about Police Certificate, and now I'm wondering if my package got there or didn't.

Hi

I was requested for Medical Exams and proof of relationship on May 20th. I did the medical on May 28th. And the 3rd line appeared on June 5th.

I sent Proof of relationship and it was delivered on June 25th. And 2nd line appeared today saying "we started processing your application on June 29th" 4 days after the docs arrived!

Can I pay the Landing Fees without receiving the instruction of Mexico VO?
Can I just pay it and show them the receipt by the time they ask for it?

I have one question... In my application I said that I was going to Calgary, and in the letters they sent they put Calgary as place of landing... I probably have a job opportunity in Toronto, can I then change the city and landing place?

Congrats buddy, you can land anywhere except quebec (technically you can land there but you can not process your landing formalities there). And of you can live anywhere, you are permeant resident of Canada.

P.S can you please share the date you sent your passport to Mexico?

NIKONIKO is right you can land anywhere but Quebec. Congrats!!!

Hi NIKONIKO, thanks for the info.... Is there any place where I could confirm this?

I sent my passports in june 25th, they were received in the embassy in june 29th and the embassy shipped them back in july 2nd, I went to the Fedex office yesterday and picked the passports up. The embassy was really helpful returning my passports very fast because I have a business trip next week.

It was very difficult to find the prepaid Airway bill in Colombia. Postnet was the provider who was able to sell me a Fedex prepaid airway bill. Very recommended!!!

I'll keep in touch to try to help others who might need some experience.

I have a question though, do you know if after my med results have been received, can they ask me again for a proof of funds?
