Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted on this forum.
I hope almost everyone got their PR already! Congrats to those who are PR now and best of luck to those who are still waiting!

I have received my Passport with visa in May and did my Landing at Carway in June 7.. Now waiting for the PR Card... Which will be another long wait. .

It's good to be back in the forum!

I guess the next topic of discussion for all of us will be PR Cards.

Good luck for the guys waiting for their turn :) .. be positive , it will come :)

From the time you arrived at the arrivals hall to departure from the building, how long did it take you to complete landing?

One of my kids is in college and may just fly up, land, and then fly back to studies.

i did my landing at the US border not at the airport. We are a family consists of 5 persons.

it took approximately one hour from the time we approched the US border till we went out of the canadian border as Permenant residents.

8)

Just found the CoPR waiting in the postbox. We're in.
They have not requested copies of passports or photos.
One of the two photos we sent with our original application were attached to our CoPR letters.

Wife and I will land on a land border on Sunday.
Kids will come up from college for a weekend and land at the airport.

Hi guys! Just want to let you know that PR card processing right now is a bit of a wait.. Although the processing times on the website went down to 21 days some people waited 3 months to six months... I am still waiting for my PR card and I need to travel back home in September...another wait if you ask me.

The waiting is never over I guess! ::)

Landed this evening. Was surprised that it only took about 15 minutes.
It previously took at least 90 minutes to process temporary work permits and renewals at the same crossing in recent years.

Welcome! You're on the home stretch.
I updated to a new SIN# today. The CoPR letter stapled to my passport was sufficient.

Now time to focus on my prayer beads so the implementation of C-24 is delayed another year. :)
