thats what happend in my case .. i did upfront medical for my spouse and it delayed my file for atleast 3 months according to GCMS Notes ..

I'm currently waiting for my son's passport. So I'll be sending our passports together next week... It says on the letter that our visa is Valid until Oct. 10 this year so I need to do the flag polling as soon as I get my passport back, then wait for my PR Card then go home to get my son before the expiry date for his visa... Not enough time.

Does anybody know how long it would take to get the passports back with visa?

Ok. I understand the response now. So if the PR visa happens to be issued two months before medical expiry, it sounds like that's it. Just two months to land.

I wonder if we renewed our medicals on our own just prior to the visa issuance and submitted them if that would reset the clock?

It says on the PPR request letter that if you do not land before the said expiry date then you have to resubmit another application and pay the fee for the processing. So it means then you have to wait for another medical request then you can do the medicals again.

From all the self reported dates from folks who have got PPR, its 2 weeks to the date - 14 days.

Do you know how to take an appointment from MP. Somebody in the forum met with MP and he/she called cic to figure out whats going on with the application.

I have my cousin in Regina SK. I was thinking that I will ask him to meet with MP.. but I dont know who the MP is and how to take an appointment with him

Please guide??

No update yet, thought would get the PPR email soon as some of the July applicants were getting but unfortunately nothing yet. Getting frustrated.

Don't worry man you will get it !!!! good things come when you are least expecting it. I remember a guy on here named "Solitz" he was also crying about his PPR email last Friday at but after an hour later he got his PPR. So don't worry brother, and you still have 2 more days to go. You never know man what tomorrow's gonna bring you.

I was off at work today so i was kinda browsing different forums today on here and i noticed that no one has heard from CPP Ottawa this week except Cyntact, he is the only one getting PPR this week and he heard because his file was transferred to Manila and he got his PPR email from there. So i guess CPP Ottawa will send PPR's tomorrow or on Friday !!! thats my assumption though
