Hello,
could you please advise - by the time they approve the application, my son will be 14 years old. Does he need to sign the application in advance?
Thanks.

I sent my application end of Feb/2013.. still waiting for the acknowledgement letter

Hi everyone
I also sent my application in Feb 2013 but it returned back asking for "all official school records for the 4 years period".
I have attached all my degree and transcript except for the current one which I haven't finished yet. I will be finishing this diploma by next semester. I was wondering what do I need to submit? Do I ask my college for a copy of transcript for the previous semesters or just a letter stating that I'm currently enrolled in the this semester in this program?
Please help
Thanks

Obtain and send the transcript of your current studies. This is what I did before sending my application.

Just wanted to share my timelines.

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 29, 2012.
We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 29, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
We started processing your application on March 12, 2013

Was wondering if anyone share this timeline. I'm from Hamilton, ON.

Hi Intel,

Just wondering why you had to provide your school records alongwith the citizenship application.

Was it for a proof of language evidence?

Thanks

Nope. I already sent a copy of IELTS results that I submitted previously for my PR application as a language proof.

I do not know why CIC asks for the school records. In the document checklist, I was asked to provide school records (if applicable) for me and my children (covering the last four years). Maybe those records are going be part of the standard residency screening from now on.

Hi Intel,
Could you please let us know when did you send in your application? Thanks.
