I read in that http://canada-immigration-rules.blogspot.com/ web site that this is possible that if u apply as a permanent imigrant and ur points did not reach to 67 then there is other way too through which u can apply... plz help me... i posted that quation prior too but no one can aply me i wil be realy thank to all of u .. bz my points reached to 60.. thanks

i also read it in CIC that... tell me is it possible that i can apply without the help of lawyer

You can apply without the help of a lawyer and if you don't reach 60 points there are other ways you can apply but most of them involve getting a job offer or going to Canada on a work permit. You can for example get sponsored by an employer through a provincial nominee program.

If you have only 60 points, I see no reason why I should calculate them for you again. I believe you if you say you have 60. You think you have somehow missed a whole 7 points? Why don't you try to calculate again?

Another thing, is your occupation one of the 29 of the list? If not, you need a job offer anyway to apply. If you get a job offer, you get another 10 points and will pass 67

You can apply under investor category or self employed category if you do not have Cdn $ 800,000.-
Give details about your education, experience, age, any relative in Canada, qualifications of your spouse etc. to calculate.

I believe in ye days of olde, applicants were sometimes passing with 65 or 66 points with some visa officer discretion. However, certainly in the past couple of years nobody is passing unless than have at least 67 points - and people are being turned away with 65, 66 etc.

As Leon says if you have only 60 points, no amount of re-calculating is going to magic you an extra 7 points.

Have you considered trying to get a job offer from a Canadian employer? This would get you an extra 15 points (10 for job offer plus 5 more in adaptability). There are usually other routes in but it will involve some hard work and determination.

Best of lcuk,
Wayne.
