Bharucha are you still waiting for medical and PCC request for Ottawa Visa office?

They point i was trying to make is they could have issued request for medical for us, we have been waiting for Six Plus months, once they issue the request its another couple of months process

don't like to use bad words, but they are purposefully dragging their feet, and especially old cases (2010 - 2011) its unfortunate to say that

Yes, I am still waiting for medicals. I know, they should have issue the medical request but Since I have gone through with same S**t when I applied for my PR and my all friends got their approval and my file was stuck somewhere but in the end I got it. So all I can say is that, keep your hopes up. I agree, this is very stressful situation for anyone but trust me our stress not going to speed up process.

I agree with all you...why are they dragging on old files of 2010 and 2011. I know of some people who file in 2016 getting their PPR....Also in same boat as you all we are 2010 batch with twice medical done and still waiting for PPR. God only knows how they process but it is frustrating to see so much of discrimination here in Canada too

Good news! Recieved medical and pplice clearance request via MYCIC account at 11:32pm today. Luckily my parents are here visiting on tourist visa and brought police clearance certificates with them.
Office is Ottawa
it says we can upload the police clearnace certificate via mycic account in 7 days so by nov 28th2016
I have 2 questions-
*For medicals- can i get their medicals done here in toronto? even if they are from india and visiting me here?
*Minor typo on police clearance ceritificate on addrrss. however name, dob , passport number, passport date kf issue and expire is all correct? would minor typo om address be an issue? its mostly for criminal check no?

experts/experienced folks- please advise

hi all

my parents got PPR today from delhi visa office.

my timeline is

applied on apr 2011
aor on june 2011
document req july 2014
sponsorship approval and file transfer on march 2016
medical req on march 2016
ppr on nov 2016

Did you ordered GCMS notes ? If yes, then simply copy from there all details.

Because I had same problem, and when I received my GCMS notes, I just copied the details from there and it worked.(Specially Family Members and place of birth)

i am sorry..so this is what happened..originally they made a mistake and told me my file was sent to new delhi office, that was in june 2016.Then i got an email from cic that they made an error and my file was atually transfered to OTTAWA office NOT new delhi . that email came in september 2016. i think i forgot to update my info on his forum that file was transfered to ottawa not new delhi

now last night i recoeved medicals and pccc for my mom and dad via Mycic login as i was able to link my account. and i got an email notification that there are 3 messages posted by cic.
1 for pccc for my parents and other 2 were medicals forms

luckily my parents are visiting me in toronto and here until the end of this month.so timing is perfect..i got appointment today to get their medicals done on monday.and lucikily i told them to being police cleaeance certificates with them(which they did)
cic told me to upload the PCC in 7 days through the online system.i called cic today and confirmed that as well.
so looks like ottawa is moving folks..hang in there

my only question and concern is there is a minor typo on my dads pccc..can i still send it with a explanation letter? as they only gave me 7 days to submit pcc online? i am nervous

it sounds / looks good and bad for me in case of CPC-Ottawa

one of my friend from 2011 batch but not active on this forum but his file is being processed at Ottawa (file transferred to Ottawa in early June 2016)

received some messages in GCKey, but typo error with Name, file numbers and time line provided

looks like they are giving 30 Days for medical and 45 days for PCC

In my case i checked my GCKey, no update messages, need to keep checking as some activity is taking place at Ottawa

advice others keep checking their GCkey

Congratulations to the applicants who have received SA and PPR etc,

I need suggestion for my case,

Applied in Jan 2016, (with income for 2012, 13 and 14),

Now I am losing my job on 29th Dec 2016 (employer gone to Mexico),

My question is: "Shall I apply for EI or not"

if CIC asks for my income is sufficient for 2015 and 2016 as well

its good to hear for you SMalhotra for medicals.
Just to give you guys update , my file was transffered in June 2016. so far no update. have tried multiple times with my MP. no result. the rumor we have about no files being processed beacuse of end of the year is not true. as they are not processing as many old (2010-2011) cases anymore..they are doing way more newer ones. god knows if and when is something happening ???

really have lost faith in the system...

A good news after 6 and 1/2 years of submitting an application. My sponsorship application is Passed half way. I got letter today for sponsorship approval.ECAS still show in Process

I am still interested to go far a law suite or any other kind of protest to join if anyone is interested here. I can not forget the pain i have gone through and still going through. We don't deserve this..
