Hi Guys,

My mom has received passport request this morning from local LVO.

Now I am thinking where to send the passport for PR to my local office or Ottawa. I am concerning that in Ottawa this process can take much longer time.

Did you receive the medical request from Ottawa or LVO? Were you asked to submit any additional documents with the medical to LVO?

My parents have been asked to submit IMM008/ IMM5406 and Schedule-A along with completed medicals within 60 days to LVO.

Where is LVO ? Ottawa?

I don't want to guess your motivation for discouraging people to seek help if they treated unfair by CIC. when you call CIC, they deny any 2014 files were processed. The fact is 2014 files were reviewed/processed/approved before May-Nov 2011 files were treated the same. I know some 2014 application might not like it, but the truth is; there are annual limited visa for parents sponsorship and we were ahead of 2014 applicants. Our files should be processed first; unless there is a missing part in application or any obstacle. There are always people like you that accuse whoever is speaking out for dividing. Sorry pal, it is raining out there and I am not discouraged by your ####. For anyone who wants to seek help in this wrong doing, you can contact the MPs involve in these matters and if we couldn't raise the issue then we can ask media to put some light in this.

I didn't want to reply to this as this topic is specifically meant for 2011 (May-Nov) applications and my reply may initiate unnecessary arguments. So, this will be my one time reply to the matter.

I never discouraged people to seek help if they need to. By seeking help, I mean contacting CIC/MP. But bringing media into it is a separate thing. No matter what you call PGP, a right or a privilege, will always have a strong emotional side to it. And when you bring 2014 cases to compare and create pressure on CIC to stop their progress in order to expedite yours totally kills that emotional side. I also believe (as Soonihope mentioned) that pre-2014 cases will probably have PR visa issued before any of 2014 applicants gets it. Moreover, if CPC-M is done their part on 2011 files, what should they do? Pause until all LVOs are done with Step-2?

I did not attack anyone here personally. As a whole, I did not like the way you guys are treating post-2011 cases. I said same thing in 2014 thread when they reacted upon your decision of bringing media into it. But you attacked me personally by characterizing me "There are always people like you". That's something new I learn about myself. But yes there are people like me who maintain 3 different PGP timeline spreadsheets on people's demand and some more.

Again, I wish all of you get what you rightfully deserve.

Yes I have submitted my Additional Documents on 25th Nov 2015 and got Acknowledgement (AOR) only on 24th Feb 2016, But no information about it's approval yet!

Based on my requested & received GCMS Notes dated 8th Apr 2016, my file is in Open status, not even in processing Queue and it does not look and feel good to me.

By looking at the timelines of various folks listed on the document maintained by ksenya; it appears it could take about Six to Eight months from the date of submission of additional documents

Hopefully if we do not have any new crises, early fall we would be knowing about the status of our Approval

You can do the rest of the process from Canada. No need to return to Moscow.

2016.02.24 - received AOR

i have received AOR around same time but i sent additional documents one month later when compared to you (Additional documents were submitted on 25th Nov 2015)

I chose email as default mode of communication, so I got an email from CIC with a PDF file saying this:

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in Moscow for further processing.
This visa office was selected based on your
Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
