I think the principal applicant has to land first or both of them have to land together.

Have another question regarding No. 11B on IMM1283:

Is it mandatory to fill out the fields "Hours worked per week" and "rate per week and/or hour"?
I always worked different amount of hours per week although for the same employer.
Depending on overtime hours, the number of hours per week and rate per hour might vary.
Is it enough if I just put the total income for those 52 weeks between Oct 24,2013 and Oct 24,2014?

Thanks for your help.

Difficult to give accurate timeline but even if your mother is in Canada you can do medicals here. Many people do medicals in Canada and it causes no problem with case processing.

I would not leave boxes empty in case they think form is incomplete.
Try and work out average hours worked per week rather than leave column empty. Also include a covering letter mentioning that the hours worked are an average as some weeks you worked more or less. Also any other points such as which income 2013 or 2014 to use can be mentioned in the letter and explained.

The more detailed your information and explanation the easier it will be for the officer dealing with the case and hopefully quicker the approval for you.

Hi Guys,

I got an email today from CIC this morning even though I have paid my RPRF fees long back in 2014 when I submitted additional documents.

Did any one got in the same situation?

======

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

Ø Father name:
RPRF, Family Class: Have your sponsor pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee in Canada

Mother name:
RPRF, Family Class: Have your sponsor pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee in canada

Your Sponsor can pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee online by visiting: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en. Your sponsor may also obtain an original receipt of payment form IMM 5401(HPM) if they pay at a financial institution. Once the payment has been made, the sponsor must send a copy of the receipt to the following address:

CPC-Mississauga (Permanent Residence Fee Payment)
P.O. Box 6100, Station A
Mississauga, Ontario, L5A 4H4

**NOTE** Please also send a scanned copy of the receipt to the following email address: CPPO-Cost-Recovery.CTPO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 10 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal and/or delay of your application.
=======

I am going to send RPRF fee receipt to CIC Mississauga office and email scan copy to the email provided. Let me know if you want me to add anything else. Thanks!

I found the following in my GCMS notes and thought it would be interesting to share, might be helpful for others.

Income Assessment Details: 1
From Date: 08/06/2009
To Date: 08/06/2010
(date when my application was received at CIC)
Additional Family Members:
Family Size: 5
Include Co-Signer:
LICO Year: 2010
(But I provided the option C of 2009)
LICO Amount: 46727
Total Income: XXXXX (my income from 2009 Option C)
SA's Met For: 5 (Now, family size = 6)
Minimum Necessary Income: Met

So, it seems like CIC compares the income with the LICO of year when the application was filed (or changes to family size were reported).
But why are they then comparing it with an income from 1 year earlier?
In my case, the LICO is from 2010, but my income taken into consideration is from 2009.

Any thoughts?

No, I haven't received sponsorship approval yet.
I sponsored my wife in 2013. So, seems like the income from 2009 was not enough to cover 6 people.
But when I filed sponsorship for my wife in 2013, my income was more than enough to cover 6 people.
But they apparently compare it with the original amount and ask for income details again (although I already provided the income details in 2013 and again in 2014 when they asked for additional documents).

Thanks Sooni. My problem as my dad is principal applicant and only my mom is coming. If medical issued how it can be done as dad in India and mom here. My file was closed because of office error and when MP investigate office found the its their error so file reopened in Dec 2015 and access sponsorship eligibility and MP office informed me all completed and my file transfer to local visa office on Mar 03-2016. So i don't want to take any more chances which delay the process as I already suffer 2 yrs period when file goes in closed status by mistake.

Hey everyone. My parent sponsorship has been approved by Mississauga and the file is currently in LVO in 2nd stage of processing. What happens if I get married while the sponsorship application is in the 2nd stage of processing? I know if there is a change to the number of family member while the file is in Mississauga, then they do a secondary review, which can significantly delay sponsorship approval. But what if I get married after sponsorship approval and while the file is in 2nd stage of processing? Please note that I will still have the required LICO amount after marriage. Does the LVO do reassessment of sponsorship application (1st stage) again? Will this introduce additional delays to the processing at LVO? I would appreciate your advices.

All changes to family size must be informed. Your family size will increase by one and the income required from the date of your marriage will be calculated accordingly.

You may well find that they check to ensure you meet the financial requirements still.
I would definitely inform cic regardless of how much delay occurs as not informing them could be regarded as misrepresentation which is very serious.

You say you still meet the income requirement so I'd include proof in the form of your option c printouts so that it does not create much delay.

It is possible for your father to do the medical in India and your mother to to it in Canada. Try to use an e Medical doctor as they will submit the results to cic electronically.

Each person medical is linked to their UCI number so you can perform it anywhere and it will still be linked to them by cic.
