hey my ecase status changed "we started processing ur application january 4 2016"
i just want to make sure where they send medical request in canada or back country and how long it take

Depends what side. Do you mean sponsorship application or do you mean Perm. Residence application.

On my file the sponsorship application says We started processing your application on March 16, 2015.

But the PR application says We started processing your application on November 5, 2015. which a little after the medical request.

Meds received May 25 2015, sent to local visa office July 30, 2015 and still no request for Passports.

Well i dont know y urs doesnt show the detailes, maybe u haven't received any correspondence from vo. But mine shows 6 points detail when i enter my fathers (principal applicant) dob & name. While it only shows 3 points detail when i enter my own dob n name.

Has everyone from our May 2010-April 2011 batch now received sponsorship approval.

I ask because one person in the application batch of 2014 from the other thread has received sponsorship approval and file transfer to Ottawa. If they are starting to work on 2014 cases then we should all receive our visas this year.

I know most from May 2011-Nov2011 are still waiting for sponsorship approval but wasn't sure if anyone from this batch is still waiting. I hope not.

Let's hope all our cases are finalized quickly.

Don't be sad.. At least it is a good sign that CIC is working (or trying to work) hard right now.. Hopefully this new government will speed up the process.

Yes. Sent a case specific inquiry. They said "there is no maximum timeframe to process an application".

How long does it take to verify someone's option c printouts. This is so ridiculous. Can't believe you are being made to wait so long for approval.
I sincerely hope everyone here gets their visas quickly.

I think they have started 2014 cases so they can just say we are processing cases from 2 years ago now. Sounds better than saying people from 6 years ago are still waiting for visas.

I doubt it would make much difference. Hopefully we will all get visas before cases from 2014 will as we have been waiting 5-6 years in the queue.

We are almost at the end of this long process and just need to hang on for a while longer. I know it's tough, I was very disappointed when nothing was happening on my file last year between Jan and Dec, so I understand how you feel.
