I show ECAS status changed to "In Progress" but I have not yet received any Approval letter from CIC. Last I received AOR back in March.


Do I get any Email or Letter from CIC in this event and how long it might take if someone has idea about it please answer. Thanks!!!

now u guys should receive something regarding approval or docx , medical request form local visa office.

same thing happen to me , status was changed in process after long wait and after a week I receive email for medical and docx request from new delhi.

Yes I see you got "in process" on August 27, 2015 and Medical on August 31, 2015. Hows your file moving along ? You submitted all the docs to new delhi ?

my family done the medicals one month ago but docx is not submitted yet coz of delay in PCC of UAE for may father.
but hopefully by next week we will courier everything to new delhi. all the docx are almost ready.

is your sponsorship status is in process, if that the case then, you will get sponsorship approval letter in coming month. in my case my sponsorship status went into in process on mar25 and I got SA letter on 19th of may with a request of upfront medical and then I got a request for additional document from new delhi on 1st sept. now waiting for next step.

When did you submit your parents' passport? And when did CIC received the passport as per tracking? We have the same passport request date but just submitted two days ago. Just wondering when to expect it back.

I'm happy that you already have your passport request. I was just wondering, my mom's file got updated and another line was added noting that CIC sent a correspondence in October 2, 2015. That was few days after St. Lukes in Manila sent an update to CIC noting that sputum (smear and culture) were all negative. All correspondence goes to my email - that's the email add we put for mom so I can track and see it immediately. It's been a week now since October 2 and we don't received any correspondence yet whether by mail or email. I hope this is a PPR now, although St. Luke's still told us that mom will still continue coming for check-up until January of next year.

Should I start worrying and contact CIC Manila? anyways, I called in CIC in Canada but they told me I should contact Manila as the file was already been transferred over. Please advise.

I would suggest you email Manila or ask your mom to contact Manila and inform them that you haven't received the correspondence since Oct. 2. Request them to resend it to your email. I'm not being negative, but i don't think it's PPR yet because your mom still has to continue coming to St. lukes for check-up until January 2016. Ater she's done with it, they may require her to have final xray. If everything is ok, then PPR will be on its way.

New Delhi Office is killing me; they are not replying to my email or to case inquiry. They have sent me a mail requesting additional documents on June 17, 2015 that I have never received. I found out about the request in the GCMS note. I have sent 3 emails and 2 inquiry so far to New Delhi Office requesting to send the letter to my email, but they did not reply to any. I also called CIC, but they said I have to contact New Delhi office because they are processing the application. My question is how long should I wait for their reply? Have anyone receive a reply from LVO before and how long it takes them to reply?

Same is happening with me but my visa office is london. They are not replying to case specific enquiries

PLEASE ADVICE
we sent our additional documents on 20th August and its been almost 2 months and we have not recieved our passport request. We are deciding to email them please tell me in how much time they reply? And also what should wr write in that mail
