Hi, Senior members, please advise. I would like to order gcms notes for my parents sponsorship filed in 2010. I would like to know what the hold up is. Can someone tell me please if I can get notes under my name (resides in canada) or do I have to have a consent form with both my mom and dad's (main applicant) signature and sisters(over 18). Please advise,

you didn't get ppr from ndvo yet. for notes, yes you need to take a signature your mom and dad and as well as your sister. you can take the consent for your mom and dad on one page, as they have the column for spouse as well, but for your sister, she need to sign on a different consent form.

All 2010 parents PR applicant, whose lvo singapore vo have anybody got ppr letter since last 6 (six) months from cic.Singapore visa office ? Please response in this forum .
We r 2010 applicant got DM last july and medical received also in july and our file started processing since last 28 may but still waiting 68 days for decision letter or email or pp request from cic Singapore vo. Thanks all.

you can choose: 1) do medical and let your doctor send it; 2) wait until you get official request.
We did #1, however test results are only valid for 1 year. So let's say if it takes to long for officer to request for medical, you might be required to redo it (although I have doubts that they should spend more than 12 months to request it).
Search through this thread and you'll find some discussions around it.

yes they are in india. did not ask for any additional document. I have a sister who is also in India but not on the application to immigrate

If your visa office is Ottawa, then why did your parents sent their passport to ND. Are they in India. do you have dependant and did they ask any additional doucments.

Hi gursikhphysio, I am in identical situation but my parents are in India and still medical reports are to be submitted to CPC-Ottawa. Did you got our mother's medical done in Canada and do you have address of CPC-Ottawa. If I google it or go via CIC website to CPC-Ottawa, the address shows ""for temporary visa". Looks like CPC-Ottawa is handling more PR applications as well. See copy from website.

My mother is here with me on visitor visa. We did her medical in Canada few days ago. I am also not sure where to send the e medical report. I think I have to call CIC and ask. Is there anybody else who has applied in 2011? Does anybody know the address of CIC ottawa for sending parent medical report?

YYCrockymountain, I am surprised that your parent VO is Ottawa because one of the requirements for your case to be processed in Canada is that your parents should be living in Canada for two years or more. I selected Ottawa as our VO in the application

When did you submit your parents' passport? And when did CIC received the passport as per tracking? We have the same passport request date but just submitted two days ago. Just wondering when to expect it back.

No. However I just checked. The permanent residence column has changed to "in process"

Do you have any update on your ecas and any medical exam request for your parent yet?

My ecas hasn't been changed to "decision made" yet, but the PR column changed to "in process".

I got an email from HK notifying me the case has been transferred to them and another two emails for medical request for my parent the same day on this past Monday.
