Additional documents sent - May 14th 2015
Ecas on May 23, 2015 - Medical results have been received

My timeline is same.
Applied may 2010
Documents requested august 2013
File transferred to Delhi Jan. 2014
Medical requested Nov. 2014
Medical sent Dec 2014
Then on may 20 received letter for DNA request

Same thing happened to me. Medical done Dec 2014.
Ecas status processing started on march 17/ 2015.
Now on may 20 got email for DNA test for all family members. Please give ur opinion

how many dependents are there in ur file...is there large age difference between the dependents or with the sponsor person? plz tell...

plz somebody tell where to go for DNA test in india...is there some officials recommended by CIC OR NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE.......OR TO SAME MEDICAL PHYSIANS CARRY IT OUT? :'( :'( :'( :'(

Thx Jeleni! You are doing a great job, just wanted to add that I have the parents + 2 dependents on file.

Iny case I got list of 4 Canadian labs which do DNA test. U have to contact the labs in Canada and pay the fees. Then they will notify Delhi embassy for sample collection from family in India. Person in Canada can schedule appoint directly by contacting lab of choice.
Don't know how long Delhi embassy will take to schedule appt.

I recieved AOR on Dec 2 2014 ..but no sponsorship approval yet..bit worried .

I have my mom and one dependent on file.

no we didnot get dna we just done are medical on 13.05.2015 and sent document..just was wooried about DNA why they asking it....

Can someone explain me different types of visas for parents including sponsership and the difference between them??
Also the processing time for each.
An early reply would be appreciated..!

Sponsorship approved...21march2015
And file tranfer to Singapore visa office
Waitng for medical . Requesting all Singapore
LVO for sharing any updating result.
