Good News,
Finally got passport back with Visa stamped. Visa valid for 1 year from the medical date. Took about 2 weeks for passport to return from CIC.
That was a wait of more than 4 years, its like dream come true.

I wish everyone good luck and hope you all get Visas soon.

Will update on landing experience at border.

Once again congratulations for your mother's PR stamping Would please advise as to whether you have submitted PCC only once while additional documents eere asked for by cpc m in July 2014 or you have again sent another PCC with medicals . Thnx waiting your feedback

from what i understand is that ottawa files are generally processed faster then new delhi files.
but can you tell me why some files are processed at ottawa rather then in new delhi ,since they are of india,how do they end up at two different visa centers .
and do you know any case of 2010 in newdelhi who have got their visa ?

It has been observed that files to Ottawa are transferred where either there is dependent & in case PGP are in Canada on SUPERVISA then files are usually processed at Ottawa instead of New Delhi in our case my fathers without dependent is in Canada on SUPERVISA since Nov 2014 & likewise Lalu78 file of his respected Mother processef & PR granted very fast by Ottawa.

Thank you all for wishes. I will definately give guidance if I have related information.
I have not submitted PCC with additional document request. I wanted to send additional documents ASAP and PCC would have taken about 2 months. Once they sent the request for Medical, around same time they requested PCC also. By that time I have arranged for PCC. So yes PCC was submitted once only

Sponsership decision made: December 2013
Medicals request: Jan 2014
Permanent resident status : in process.
