I received sponsorship approval from CPCM via email on Wednesday. Email states file is transferred to Ottawa for further processing.

I was thinking after sponsorship approval it goes to Local Visa Office which is New Delhi in my case. What does file do in Ottawa?

Also, I was wondering, should we get started on Police Clearance in order to avoid in delays?

I send the police clearance with the additional docs request in Sep. Processing time in Ottawa says 66 months

I think options were either to send the police certificates either when a person sends additional documents like dattap as mentioned in letter sent out on 30 July 2014 OR when requested by LVO. I think the police certificate has to be only 3 months old when you send them in.
The problem is it is difficult to predict when Ottawa will work on the files.

Ottawa will be your LVO unless they require some local information in which it will be sent to Delhi.Hopefully it will stay in Ottawa as compared with most visa offices in the world Ottawa was working the fastest up to now. The 66 month wait time is misleading I would expect if not this year then maybe next year for Ottawa to finalize all these case.
Lets keep our fingers crossed its this year for everyone.

I also received my sponsorship approval letter today.
I sent documents on 8 Sept 2014.
Hopefully other forum members who submitted their document around that date will also be receiving approval and transfer of file this week.Just keep an eye on your emails.

My parents have Indefinite status in UK but have not stayed there for more than couple months in continuity. Would there be a negetive impact for this on their file. I would appreciate everybody's openion on this.

indefinite status in UK is like PR in Canada. Why would that have any negative impact.
I don't see that causing any issue. where do your parents live at the moment.

Are you waiting for sponsorship approval or has your file been transferred to LVO.
