No need to do anything just give your dna frst .... Then after dna redult with in a month theybwill ask to redo medicals..!! And give you visa .
Dont woory tgink frst about dna ... Bcoz in dna letter tgey write clearly if doing dna medicals expire wilk ask uh to redo meficals . Ok

i have heard that visa officercan actually extend your medicals too dont worry you are almost there

We started processing ***s application on September 9, 2015.
We sent *** medical instructions on September 9, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I have contacted my local mp's office for status update and they sent an email to IRCC.
According to MPs office they will get me an update in 10 business days..

We have verified the information you provided on behalf of your constituent. We sent a message on June 6, 2016 to the Colombo, Sri Lanka visa office asking for clarification on the status of your constituent’s application for sponsorship of parents.

We will inform you as soon as we receive a reply from the Colombo office.

We recommend that you follow-up in ten (10) business days if you haven’t received any update.

Your constituent may also consult the online Help Centre or our website to find answers to other questions they may have.

Please help as my brother who is 35 yr old refuse to do his medical as CIC sent medical for my parents and sent my brother's medical also don't know why. Last year CIC asked us my brother's information and put him Non accompany dependent.
Please help me what kind of notarized letter i can send to CIC so that my parents can be approved for their visas as Brother don't co-operate and refuse to do the medical. Pls help :-[

I heard that too that sometime they extend the medical. I was thinking that my mother is going to Delhi for DNA test so while she is there that will nice to do up front medical. I heard that without vo request form a person can't do remedial I am not sure how much that is true.

Here is situation, I sponsored my parents and their depend children when I was single. Later on I got married. I didn't include my wife when I filled the sponsorship application, because she was not my wife. When I am updating the family change, I am assuming CIC should consider my wife income. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I received my parents passport with Visa last week. Yesterday I called the call centre to book an appointment to complete the landing formalities at CIC office in Calgary. Call centre told me that the processing time in Calgary is 3 weeks. It was not an urgent request. After just 2 hours, I received an email from Calgary office and they gave me an appointment with in a week. That was quick. I think it is better than driving to the border for completing the COPR

If your wife is a co sponsor - then CIC will consider joint family income, if not, then your income should be enough to support your wife + your parents. It means that the minimum income required for you to sponsor will increase.

has anyone applied for an extension of Super Visa from within Canada? My parents were sponsored in December 2010 and still the file is pending which is very frustrating. They were currently in canada and we would like to extend their supervisa, hoping the immigration would come sooner.

55 days? Thats alot. Its written in the ppr mail that if you dont recieve your passports back within 30 days you should email to your visa office.

I agree with sundusk that 55 days seems a bit too long. contact VFS and see if they know what the delay is and also send a case specific email to Delhi explaining the situation.
