Hi Applied 2010,
I have not received AOR yet. I submitted additional documents in Sept 4, 2014. I am feeling worried that its taking so long for me.

That seems unsual as I thought all people who sent documents by mid Sept had received AOR. are there any other forum members from Sept who still haven't received AOR. I was under the impression they were now working on AOR's for October applications.
might be worth ringing CIC.

I did contact CIC in late November, and also in late December and they said that CIC may need upto 90 days to get back to any enquiry. I will contact CIC again in late January.

I was checking old posts by forum members and I see that everyone who sent documents by 9 Sept 2014 has received AOR or response from CIC. one member who sent documents on 19 Aug has been approved as sponsor and had medical request as well.

Even some members who sent documents after 9 Sept have received AOR in Dec. hopefully you will also get your AOR soon.It is horrible just having to wait for any news everyday.

Has any other forum member received sponsorship approval or any news from CIC recently after sending documents following the letter dated 30 July 2014.

Hey sorry been really busy .I received mine at the end of Dec dated 17th dec. Called CIC after that about how long its gonna take for the first stage approval. They told me its usually 6 months.

I Sent the additional papers on OCT-21 2014 but no reply from CIC as of yet.

here's the timeline-
Application received by CIC- AUG-30, 2010
mail for additional papers for sponsor from CIC- AUG-05, 2014
additional documents sent to CIC- OCT-21, 2014
AOR or Sponsor approval letter received- still waiting

was your application sent Aug 2010. you wrote Aug 2014.
If you sent documents in late Oct 2014 hopefully you will get AOR in next couple of weeks.

I contacted CIC today and they said that they have sent me AOR sometime in Sept, which I did not receive. So they have resent the copy of AOR to me on Dec 24th.
I hope to receive my AOR by next week.
