Itsbeenlongnow and Jewel 1020 : I applied on April 2007... I did my medicals in June last year (expired) according to my lawyers I am approved but since I lived in Canada as Refugee Claimant and left the country after 14 months I had to show proof of my departure before the deportation order and I did it... I am waiting for the embassy in my country to render a decision concerning my ARC (Authorizacion to Return)... My wife is very optimistic because we have a 16 years old Canadian daughter, but I do not think this helps... Anyway I have ordered CAIPS 3 weeks ago through my lawyers in montreal to verify my status, but they think it should be ok , let´s see... I keep my faith high but as any other pre feb 2008 applicant I can´t avoid the fear, so I feel in the same boat and pray every day for the 300.000 families to get the best outcome out of this long wait , huge effort and for most the closest way to get away for a better future out of our countries... I am from Venezuela and this is getting worse every day and I don´t want my three daughters to live here anymore....

Well I hope for the best for all and God be with us forever...

Sincei have been waiting since 2007, reading / posting on this forum, I think i know a bit about the process, therefore I want to say
they request for Medicals only once the candidate meets all the selection criteria, Im positive that you will get through, its just a matter of time,
dont let the expired meds let you down, as they can always be repeated, Im sure you guys will also be hearing good news soon, I think they work in batches and i think its our turn this time around!,
take my advise, do order caipsnotes, they will tell you clear picture.

Sincei have been waiting since 2007, reading / posting on this forum, I think i know a bit about the process, therefore I want to say

You are welcome bro, my NOC I believe was 0111 some thing related to accounts
Not sure of exact NOC code as i was filed through a agent, I do remember triple 1s in it

we r all happy by this good news. u rite vo works in batches i have read somewhere in NDVO who wrote someone in reply that files r accessed in batches. so i think this is turn for 2007 or previous years pple as many 2007 pple r getting updates now-a-days
