harith,,, yes ,,my situation is just like yours,,applied with a lawyer in 2006,,updated 2010,,,and nothing new since then,,,,,i called my lawyer he said he will send for another update in december again!!! immigration canada saying still in process!!! once my lawyer told me that lebanese government is slow sending security documents to canada immigration,,,that slows things ,,,plus,,,what is happening in syria may be doubling the load? or our application are in warsaw so we have nothing to do with damascus or jordon????

Hi Everyone,
I know this thread is for 2006 applicants..but I couldn't find any 2007 threads.
I applied early 2007, through a representative in Canada and still haven't heard back from them. when I check online it still says "in process".
I was wondering if anyone in is in the same boat but has heard anything back?

Did you get any document update request? If yes, then when was that?
Better get your CAIPS note to check if you were given points or not and when was that. So you will be in clear picture.

Hello,
- This date 31/12/2011 means your file processed before the dead line of 29 March 2012 so you should be safe.
- PSDEC 0: many files were processed but not entered so visa offices are asked to enter the data manually within 30 November.
- Granted points in other factors for many are not given but what is your total point?
- See the comments on 2 or 3 page where first mentions Appln fees received ......., then what other comments?

- in the notes area ther is writen that: FOSS Check Done, also its mentioned that update documents were recived by kurier om 22/12/2011 and then the file is sent to PPS.
- i have just been granted points for age nothing else

btw what is the AAK and AAD, MGA written in the Notes section in the CAIPS?

Not sure, if they process your file and found all ok then yes, if not processed yet then no. I found several CAIPS notes of different persons. Processed but no selection decision though created medical form with the CAIPS note but did not send to the applicants. Some others no comments about the missing documents, given above 70 points but not processed so far.
When you are awarded points for age means your file processed before the dead line of 29 March 2012 and hopefully you are not in the eliminating group. I request you to apply for another CAIPS note about 2 weeks later to see if they entered manually your latest status into your file.

they requested the following documents as well:
1- Updated schedule A for yourself, your spouse and each dependent child over the age of 18
2- Police certificates for yourself, your spouse and each dependent child over the age of 18
3- Updated proof of funds
4- Completion of the medical examination for yourself, your spouse and your dependent children
5- Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee for yourself and your spouse
6- A copy of all pages of passport for yourself, your spouse and your accompanying dependent children

i have some questions if somebody knows the answer plz:
1- wt is the expected time after medical examination to get the visa
2- wt is Right of Permanent Residence Fee? hw much? & hw to pay it? should i pay 490 CAD for me & my spouse or 980 CAD for both of us?
3- why did they ask for a copy of all pages of passports?

Have you ever applied for caips? If yes was there points granted? Or seledec?
