Why is so quiet in here?
No body got medical yet?
One Iranian 2005 got his medical today. It seems they began to work in new year.
It is a good news I think. Give some energy and pray for all to hear good news soon

Hi Fery ,i do not know if it is a good news or bad news about the Indian who got her medical now ,since 2005 ,That means 7 years of waiting ,That is sooooo much ,I applied in 2006 ...i do not even want to think that my application might take the same processing time

I hope it is a good news any way. at least they are one step further and started to work in new year and for giving medicals.
I know this time of medical for 2005 people is late but most of them are in there by now. Let's be hopeful to be one of the most 2006 people who get their medical not later than these days.

Ihabkal , At least I am in a safe country ,I am from Iraq and it is so unstable here ,I am doing my best to get as much experience as possible so it can be of any benefit there when reaching Canada hopefully

Hi wjd,i work in the field of telecommunications and information technology ,anybody knows if this speciality is demanded there ,is it easy to get a job under this occupation??will my occupation affect my application processing time ?bear in mind that i applied since 2006 (not according to the occupation list rules)

for the IT part you might find some work depending on what your IT expericne is really about, but for the telecommunications part if you don't know what I am going to tell you then you are not doing a good jobs researching your own domain.
companies which used to be in separate industries – telcos, mobile operators, ISPs, cable and entertainment firms – are now in the same business (any firm that can deliver an IP stream can offer any service)
the projections are that in the next few years 40% of the industry will shrink due to merging of all services into one.
In laymans terms what now is phone, cable tv, internet, cell phone...etc i.e. any form of communication will be downsized to one: internet so thousands of telecommunications majors will be out of work.

Specifically my telecom experience is in the fields of (Billing,OSS,BSS),and in terms of IT experience i worked as a programmer for few years and then i worked in software quality control ,what makes me feel optimistic is that i am registering in many Jobs sites and they keep on sending job offers but they draw back when they know that i am not a canadian residence ,after all i feel it is a matter of chance and insistance to move on and keep on trying ,Good Luck for all
