maybe he got his medicals and is busy doing them.
A friend of mine confirmed that Damascus embassy is closed and th eembassador "locked" it and fled Syria. My friend has a finsihed family reunion application finished all he need sis to get the stamped passport for his wife to join him and he can't. him and his lawyer called the embassy several times until someone there told them not to call anymore and that it is closed until furhter notice.

and by the way, there is only one way to put it, Canada screwed us. I got several friends here tha ttold me how they got their permanent, if I lied on my application 10 years ago I would've been a Canadian citizen by now.
