Hi,

I am planning to study a 8.5 month PG program in Canada early this winter. My consultant is saying that I could take a 3 year PGWP if I am enrolled to another 8.5 month or a longer PG program as soon as I finish the first program.

Is it possible to make it by studying two 8.5 month programs in a consecutive manner?

Or should I run for a 2-year PG program rather than studying two programs?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes. You will be eligible for a three years PGWP if you complete two eight months course / one two year course (sixteen months) without taking a unofficial break.

BTW, what are you planning to 'run' for? The Presidency? ;)

Just 'apply' for it dude :)

Many thanks for your reply. This really helps.

Btw, I just wanted to say to hurry as I have now very short time to apply a new program for this winter. Read that “to run” as “to hurry.”

Thanks again for your help.
