Hi All,

Maybe I have asked this question on some threads....but as my status is still RBVO...I am a little concerned....could it be because I have 2 applications filed??.??.?? (first application sent in Feb 2008 and other in Nov 2010)

I have a couple of friends who got their PER one month after me and their status is "In Process" whilst mine hasn't changed....should I send a query to CHC London?? or Should I withdraw my old application?? or should I just wait??

Comments Please !!!

i think u should wait for the medicals from at least one application, then u can withdraw the another.

There is no problem having 2 applications running. You just can't have one with decision made (meaning after visa is granted) and the other still open.
Wait to see one at least after MR, or Passport request, and then withdraw the other.

Once you get MR for one, CIC will ask you to withdraw the other one.

Hi m8,

Your RBVO status on your new application is nothing to do with your other application, which I think you are best to leave active until your new application gets to medical requests stage. Then, in the unlikely event that something does go wrong with the processing of your new application, you still have your old application to fall back on.

The best thing to do is to refer to the post-June-2010 spreadsheet to see how your file is going compared with the majority of other CHC London users.

I just checked are there are 14 London users who applied before you who are not yet in process:

immigrantapplicant
Midoo
ammaartahir
adeel41
mrgeminian
04vancouver
bigmac
IRG
Humannamuh
basmalahh
sasi6174
Advance123
ss1886
ambersabarabia

By contrast there are only 2 users who applied after you who are in process:

andregabriel
Mrs. C

So you don't really seem to be behind, is there really any need to send a query to the visa office?

Please remember, any time spent answering queries of the "What's going on with my application" variety (which will almost certainly be greeted with a "Your application is awaiting review, quit bothering us" response) is time not spent actually processing someone's file.

I understand your frustration but I don't think you have any cause for concern at this stage, and whilst there are so many people before you who are also not yet in process, I see little point in contacting the visa office :)

Indeed :) Bugging CIC with update requests isn't going to get you there any quicker, it will in all likelyhood just slow things down for everyone if people kept doing it.

As a rule of thumb, try to only contact the visa office when it is essential (updated address or information etc).
