BC can take as long as from one month to 3 months in some cases as it is the most time taking process which includes many steps through local police to federal to INTERPOL on specific cases.

Did any one get any update on their profile. I called Ircc on 23rd they said my criminality check is done but security check and eligibility check has not yet started. Tracker says background verification is in progress since 19th April.

Hi there ,
i am in the same situation as you, applied march 18, 2023. I ordered gcms notes and it said my criminality passed on the first day on 19 april, and security and eligibility not started since then, many people are getting updates but I am confused too

It’s been 5months since the background check changed to in progress. I requested the GCMS notes but still not received. Anything else could be done ?

Similar situation here. 9 months of background check. GCMS notes is a good idea. Let us know if you receive it and if there was any useful information.
I tried calling and raising web forms. It’s pretty useless.
I also contacted my local MP (member of the parliament). Technically, they can contact ircc and request all the information just as GCMS notes

Applied on march 3rd, eligibility not started and BG on progress since april 19th, anyone with eligibility not started? I am starting to worry

But is it okay that once my wife(PA) gets the passport stamped and receives COPR but lands here in the month of December?

i don't know within how much time she has to enter Canada. please help
