Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
On the Document Checklist (as seen in this link:http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.PDF) Items 18 and 19 are giving me some trouble. My (soon to be) husband does not have a job yet and he hasn't had one since the beginning of this year. We will be staying with his parents and they will be providing for while he finishes school and possibly works part-time (if he finds a good job). Should we have them write a letter stating that they are providing for us and have a bank statement? For now this is the only thing giving me trouble. I will be leaving to get married to him in 9 more days and I am just a little stressed with packing, family problems, and issues with friends. Any help will be appreciated.

For 18 write n/a on the checklist. You could then place a statement in that spot in the pile of papers that states he is currently unemployed.

For 19 write n/a on the checklists. You do not have to meet the income requirements in a spousal sponsorship.
