Hi everyone:

I thought I had 14 months of CEC experience but I was double checking it now and I made a mistake, it is 13, not 14.

Can somebody help me calculate if I met the requirements yet?

I started working in a NOC B position on August 1, 2012... On Sept 1, 2013 I was promoted to a position for which I cannot find a NOC code... Even though it is higher up the ladder I have no time to go see a lawyer and try to figure out my new NOC Code...

Is August 1, 2012 - September 1, 2013 enough? I took 2 weeks off in total during that period. 7 days in Mexico and 7 days in Cuba... So 13 months minus 2 weeks equals 12 months and 2 weeks. I am a bit paranoid it is very risky to apply with such a period... Is it ok? Seniors, please help!!!

Also, I got my open work permit on July 30, but I still had my old Study Permit and a Co-op Permit valid till October 1. So basically there were 2 months that I WAS NOT A STUDENT ANYMORE, but those old permit were still valid, do I have to write a letter of explanation so that the officer does not think I was a full time student? Or is my new OWP enough for him/her to understand that?

Yes, it's more than 12 months, even if you subtract your vacation so as long as you were working full time, 30 hrs. a week or more, you will be fine.

I agree with Leon. You have more than the required 12 months and vacation is absolutely fine.
Even if your vacation was unpaid you still meet the minimum requirement.

When did u get your PGWP? I always ask people to count from the date of PGWP (though it's not always necessary - more like a precaution).
