I have been working remotely full-time from my home country for an employer in the U.S. Is 1 year of continuous full-time remote work experience counted towards express entry?

If you were paid for the 1-Year of work experience then I believe it would be fine. You would be having the associated Payslips and Tax documents as well I guess (though not mandatory). Good luck.
