1 year gap after bachelors- What to show?

I have a gap of 1 year after my bachelors. I didnt do anything much during this time but I can show a certificate course done for 4- 5 months. For the remaining what do i show?

- If I say I was preparing for TOEFL or GRE , do I have to show some sort of proof.... coz I took these exams almost a year after this gap.
- If I say I was travelling or on vacation, do they crosscheck with the passport immigration stamps?
- Can I say I was preparing college application forms or something of that sort?

Is there any other option that I have to fill this gap?

Show it as volunteer work, no need to provide proof.

Or you can show you were travelling. It is very common. In north america and europe graduates travel after studies to explore, before getting into the grind of employment.

But wudnt they chk the passport stamps and there won't be any travel at the exact dates that I mention

1 year gap is accepteable as the VO knows that student needs time to take IELTS n admission in colg Uni.
I had one year gap, n Visa also

Write any volunteer work related to ur study for short period of time

do not lie on ur application ..u must have done something in that one year write the truth......

Yeah I am trying to make sm truth....cz I did absolutely nothing. ..I got recruited by a company during my final yr in college and they send me the appointment date a year later...so I was just waiting and waiting for it all along. .

then thats fine too u took a break. but remember if u lie u have to keep on lying in ur pgwp application ur PR application and ur citizenship application. any where in these processes ur caught u will lose a lot more than what u will lose now. one year break wont even matter if ur profile is strong but think about the future.

Sorry to diverge but I am curious to know,is it really mandatory to fill in the gaps if the gap is even for a few months like 4 months too? After studies and until one finds a job, if it's this small a gap isn't it understood that one was finding a job(like 4 months)?

Theres no harm in writing that you were unemployed. Or in a subtle way,looking for jobs. Many students after studies do it. Don't make it up.

u could write taking a break from studies. people do take Sabbatical.

in my application i did have a couple of months gap between jobs which i didnt mention but i dont know if it will cause any problems. it didnt create problems for me but dont know if it will be noticed for u.
