The fastest way is to go to the border and do a flag polling (it took me 20 min at Rainbow bridge Niagara falls ) and to get an appointment it take about 2 months

What all do u need for landing ?? Do u need pics?? If so which type....the standard 35mm ,45 mm or passport size and how many ??
I have to land the day I receive passport and start working the very next day.
I appreciate ur help.

All the requirements will be in ur pamplet along ur passport smile26. U dont need pics for pr card until required by cic.

I actually have not yet landed. However, the package they send back to you should contain:
- 2 copy of confirmation of PR (one has a photo on it, one hasn't)
- instructions
- passport
- the other photo that you sent them earlier when u submit your passport

based on the instruction is, just bring what they send you to meet the immigration officer either by appointment locally or go to border/international airport to complete your landing.

They did not specify anything else that you need to bring in.
For sure, I don't think you need more photos.
However, I've seen ppl were asked for proof of bank statement, employment record/letter or T4.
Make sure you also bring your PGWP, they will take it away when you sign your confirmation at the immigration office and that should be it. They will then send you your permanent resident card by mail in a few weeks ;D

Nice! I'm guessing u prob will have it by tmrw. I saw my tracking # became active on July 25 at 3:30pm, and received the package the next day in the morning at 10:30am.

@Jessica H: hi,where are you from coz im from edmonton,alberta...maybe that's why it takes 1-3 business days to deliver.

I'm from Calgary,AB. The tracking # when I checked it the next day in the morning it said "is in the delivery system at your local facility at 8am"
Then, it changed it to "delivered successfully at 10:30am"
It was delivered to your regular mail box

Hi Shauwn,
I've received a letter by mail today from Harry Hays telling me when is my examination interview time. I think this might help you to answer the question.
It said on the letter "If you are subject to and have not yet paid the RPR fee of $490. You must do so on the day of your interview"
so I think if they have not cash it is prob normal, as long as you pay the fee before the final interview with officer
btw, they have scheduled me on Oct 4@ 1:13pm for that interview. LOL
not sure yet if I'm even able to make it on that Thursday, need to ask boss tmrw

I've received a letter from Calgary immigration office today, they have already set up an appointment time for me on Oct 4, is about 2 months from now.
But I'm not sure if I'm able to go on that day due to work.

might now consider driving 3 hrs to the border and come back

No news yet been 38 days.Emailed CIC ...received a reply " Your application remains in process and your documents will be sent in due course."
This waiting period is killing me !!!
