Yes you can for foreign work experience.

Can you? I didn't know that. I thought the work experience had to be in one NOC for the years of experience claimed.

I did a little research using the CRS points calculator and the question is this:

Question 6 (ii)

In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).

So I'm sorry... But it seems pretty clear that you won't be able to claim points for 3 years experience with two different NOC Codes. Even if it is foreign experience.

Try the calculator! http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Could a senior please advise. Thanks!

Yes I did that.

Foreign work experience

25. (1) For the purposes of sections 23 and 24, foreign work experience is work experience that

(a) is acquired by a foreign national outside Canada in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0 Management Occupations or Skill Level A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix;
(b) consists of full-time work experience, or the full-time equivalent for part-time work experience, with one or more employers;
(c) is acquired within the 10-year period preceding the day on which points are assigned to the foreign national under section 23 or subsection 24(1); and
(d) is remunerated by the payment of wages or a commission.

Well that's great then. Lino82 it seems you're in the clear!

He can, because work experience in each of these NOC is over 1 year:

Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
in the same job,
within the last 10 years, and
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Even though the specific question in the CRS Calculator has that little disclaimer line when claiming 3 years or more?

Did you get points for two different NOC in "SAME CATEGORY"?
or
Did you get Points for two different NOC in "DIFFERENT CATEGORIES"?

SAME CATEGORY

I think it just means don't add jobs where you worked for less than a year in the same field. So 3 jobs of at least 1 year each will all be counted

Thank you all for the replies...
hope all of is make it through sooner or later and get a forum going there as well...to help one another...:)

I received the ita yesterday and found my first problem. It is related to work experience
My experience is as follows:
1. Company A April to June 2012 (ad hoc basis)
2. Company A August 2012 to August 2014
3.Company B August 2014-June 2015
The company B has actually been horrendous to me..my resignation was in august and that's why I also mentioned in my EE profile that 3rd job was from August to August
My question is that the the first 3 months during which I worked on ad hoc basis for company A and resumed as regular/permanent employee with them after summer vacations, will those 3 months be added up to my work experience or not?
Other wise I m short of 2months from 3 years for which I have acquired marks

If your experience letter / reference letter shows the period (the adhoc) then it should count...
it should be full-time ,and paid...
if you can produce reference letter from employer showing that period as well,it shouldn't be a problem...
You may either get two separate letters for the two periods or ,get a single letter to mention the dates and period clearly ...don't leave out any of the details such as the hours at work per week, salary received ,duties and responsibilities handled, designation start date, end date etc..
best of luck...
