So much misinformation regarding WP in this thread, you can apply for WP as soon as you recieve PR application fee receipt. I applied for WP 5 minutes after I applied for my PR and received my WP for 2 years within 100 days, before AOR.

Also poster who said no need to apply for WP as it takes a longgg time and sometimes as much as PR itself, well good luck with employment opportunities. Some employers explicitly ask when is your status expiring plus you need a valid SP/WP for medical benefits at least in BC. They temporarily extend it for few months when you are on implied/processing status but never take a risk on this.

Inland application applied online.

January 23 - Application submitted
January 23 - Portal submission confirmation
July 14 - AOR

My sponsor received an AOR yesterday with an application number starting from F00. Does this mean I can link my application to my GCKey? Because I haven't received any email and Im just wondering if my application number would be the same?

You should be able too! You just need the AOR to be able to link it.

Hi everyone! I am wondering I should do inland or outland for my husband, major concern is when he can work and have income in Canada.

I was afraid that the open work permit processing time is very long.

It seems a couple of inland applicants have got their OWP approved within 2-4 months, not sure if this is the norm, would be great if more members can share your OWP processing time for reference.
