Spousal Sponsorship (No dependence) Work Permit Included

Oct 12. 2022 Submitted Application Online to IRCC
October 19. Souse received AOR
October 19 Medical request received
October 28 Medical Passed (Biometrics we’re done previously)
November 10 Resubmit schedule A IMM5669 form
Dec 5th Eligibility Started and Completed
Dec. 7 - 30. Numerous Ghost updates
January 6. Application Approved and asked to send information for portal
January 16. Portal invite and upload photo (Etobicoke centre)
January 27. Received COPR
March 3. PR Card received via mail
The OWP was submitted October 23rd and to date I have not been updated by IRCC, my final step is to request a withdrawal and refund. Wishing everyone all the best in your journey.

Hello Everyone,
I need some advice here
I applied my PR as spouse non-accompanying (due to high CRS cut-off) and my PR is approved.
Now I would like to apply Inland spousal sponsorship, so 2 questions here ?

1. Do I need to give any explanation on why I didn't add my spouse to my express entry PR application , but applying through a spousal sponsorship
2. I have 2 weeks of planned travel outside Canada in Jun, does it affect spousal sponsorship application ?

Hi,
I would like to know if you have any example of AoR's email? I have received an email (my sponsor too), but I do not know if it is our AoR or just an email telling us that the application has been receieved! Thank you for your help.
I would like to know, in general, is there any email from the IRCC in which the IRCC has confirmed they have reviewed the application and that the PA meets the eligibility requirements to apply ?

I’m still at a loss:
Inland Spousal sponsorship application; Done by agency.
Original paper application accepted in June,2021
Re-submitted (as per requested) and confirmed, Jan. 18, 2022
All requirements have been done and accepted
Welcome email received; She has now been in Canada for 21 months!
Confirmation email for residency acceptance on September 26, 2022
PR Portal requirements sent and accepted on November 10, 2022
At this time, the agency, is no longer required.
The picture has been in review since early January,2023
There have been no updates!

Finally was able to link GC key account after submitting IMM5476 to release agency
GC account has no updates since Medical and background, September 23,2022
Application tracker, also has no updates since September!
No CoPR letter or email!

All calls in to inquire have been met with different types of answers, and requests now for another IMM5476, in order for me, ( Canadian husband) to be able to do inquiries on her behalf.

I am at a loss as to the delays, when I see others that have been helped sooner.
I understand that they are busy, but really!!

Status tracker is showing eligibility and background passed. but when I called IRCC they told eligibility is clear, they did not mention background. Also we received Pre arrival. How long can it take after this step? is background check done or it is yet to be done! Can anyone please guide.
Also, can anyone please tell me they asked for renewed passport and we submitted it on 13th marchand on tracker it was updated on 15th March and 29 th march there was again a step that document received. I am not sure after how long will the send some update. Please guide.

Can I ask you a question: to apply for the OHIP, a document is required stating that IRCC has confirmed they have reviewed the application and that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply. Have you received this letter in your PR process?

Jan 12 - Biometrics request for dependants (PA has biometrics on file from less than 10 years ago)
Jan 13 - Pre-Arrival letter
Jan 18 - medical passed
Jan 18 - sponsor eligibility email
Jan 26 - pa eligibility email
Jan 31 - dependants biometrics done
Feb 13 - reassessment of eligibility of sponsor and PA
Feb 13 - ircc requested custody arrangements letter
Feb 20 - custody letter submitted
April 4 - eligibility completed again
April 6 -approval email and need to verify address

My brother applied for his wife sponsorship in Canada-she is on visitor visa here.
They returned their file because of something missing.

they re-submitted the application on 15 Mar 2023.
Is there someone in same boat or how long it is taking them to send AOR

Yes, that means they have started processing the application further. They do eligibility checks for both the sponsor and the applicant.

Note: I am not the one you asked this question

You get a COPR document after submitting a declaration that You are in Canada. Once you get COPR, you should ideally wait for PR card because you cannot travel without it. and in the background, once you get COPR - your other visas are cancelled. It is important to make sure you are in Canada while all of this happening.
My friend was waiting for COPR after submitting the declaration and decided to travel. They had no issues while leaving the country, only when they were trying to re-enter
