Medical: will past cancer make me inadmissible?

Hi, sorry to hear about your father's difficulties with the visa and hope he receives a positive reply soon. As for the report, I have never actually seen one, but I believe the doctors should include as much information as possible. It looks like the referral letter is a template that they send...

    COPR and coronavirus

Hi, I was wondering if you had any update on whether you could eventually travel? My husband is in the exact same situation and all we are getting from IRCC are standard replies. I don't think they've even read what we're sending them. An update on your situation would be so helpful, if you...

    COPR and coronavirus

Am sure. Am only asking in case it makes a difference for travel. My husband has a job offer in healthcare. We are still waiting for his licence to practice to be issued, after that am planning to email IRCC and ask if we can travel. Let me know if you find out any information and I will do...

    Identify NOC job

Hi Hannah, good to hear from you :) So what I did was I emailed my previous manager (I used a previous job, not my current job) and explained what I needed with bullet points. So - dates of employment, salary, job title...I also provided answers for these, in case he did not want to spend time...

    London and/or UK based applicants

I received my passport request and COPR from the London office during a previous lockdown, so they are still working. Even if your file was processed in Canada, Ontario is also in lockdown, so that wouldn't make that much of a difference.

    London and/or UK based applicants

Hi all Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. We've been approved in a fairly short amount of time. You can see my entire timeline in my signature. The main thing now, of course, is that we cannot travel and started to panic a bit that our documents will expire before we are able to move. Hoping for...

    Scotland vs. UK PCC???

The ACRO Police Certificate is all you need. I had the same situation. When I finished filling in my application, I was asked to upload police certificates from England and Scotland (in 2 separate slots). I uploaded the ACRO UK one twice and then I included an LoE explaining that this...

    New COPRs/PRV

I also have the same question. I think IRCC will have to announce some kind of policy for us at some point soon.

    Biometrics letter and nationality

Hi No, they did not ask to see both. I went there and showed them the passport I wanted to use for my application. They did not comment so, just to be sure, I mentioned that the biometrics letter had my other nationality on it, but that the passport I gave them was the one I'd been using for...

    Outland Application updates Covid-19

Hi guys, just found this thread and keen to hear everyone's experiences. We received our PPR on 19th November, submitted all the required documents to London (UK) on 23rd November. You can see my entire timeline in my signature. Fingers crossed for everyone!

    Document upload post-ITA

Yes, you only need to upload proof of employment and education for the work/studies you claimed points for. Any other work experience/education can go in your personal history. It's absolutely fine to do this.

Document upload : We can upload single file, how to upload multiple documents as a single file?

Yes, combine all documents into a single pdf and then make sure you reduce the size if it's over the limit. I used smallpdf for this, works really well.

    Country of origin PCC

No, my country of origin is in Europe. I have no idea whether this makes a difference or not...Wish you the best of luck with your application!

Travel History in Express Entry Profile

List as much as you remember. If you saved any emails containing flight tickets/hotel bookings etc., that can help. Then also attach an LoE and say that you have included your travels to the best of your knowledge. They won't penalize you if you don't remember absolutely everything.

is IRCC running as per 6 months time line to process express entry application nowadays?

Well, I received my PPR within a bit less than 3 months. Applied in August this year. I'm not the only one. But some people have been waiting a long time. So I think it's also a matter of luck, in a way. Maybe it depends on the VO as well and their workload...It's quite hard to tell.

Made a mistake in entering the country of issue of passport.

It's ok to edit the information if you previously made a mistake. Post ITA, I moved my husband's work experience from his Work History section into his Personal History section (we claimed no points for it and therefore did not want the hassle of him having to obtain proof of employment). I...

    Country of origin PCC

Just sharing my experience here...I lived outside of my country of origin for over 10 years now. I still got a PCC from there, just in case. But IRCC never asked for it. I think they are only looking at your addresses over the past 10 years.
