Hello, After receiving AIP, are we eligible to apply for OHIP (health card) ?

I’ve applied in May 2018 and the status is still “application received”! Not to be discharging but there is really no rules as to when AIP approvals ! Some applicants were approved in less then a year and the others have waited for over 3 years!

I’ve read her thread couple days ago and can only imagine how hard it is to go thru something like that! When I saw this post about upcoming changes she was the first person I thought about and I really hope she sees this!

Thank you for your response! I completely understand that they cannot have the influence on the decision however I tought they can expedite the process (shorter waiting time) if someone life is jeopardized or in danger/ depending on that application
