    Received an interview invitation for later this month for both - my spouse and me. However, my background check still shows as “In Progress.” Does anyone know what this might indicate? From what I’ve read, interviews are typically scheduled only after the background check is completed.

    Nope, I’m in the same boat. Received FP request on July 11 & submitted the same day. Called IRCC this morning - they confirmed having received my FP and are currently processing my background.
