Can i click images with my camera for all documents (passport, marriage certificate etc) instead of scanning?

How did you guys upload passport pages images. For things like passport pages that have to be scanned and uploaded, i am clicking images from my phone. Is that okay? They are clear but not professional like a proper scan.

Can I skip adding including wife's work history in EE profile? SHe is not the primary applicant and she has zero work experience in canada so she won't get any points for that. But i dont want to add her work history and then have to find documents to support that - like work experience etc...
