    I was able to get through, and the update was that the medicals have expired, and it is upto the immigration officer's discretion on whether they'd request them again.

    Just no luck with the IRCC phone number; they keep repeating automated messages, and hang up after stating that they are unable to transfer me to an agent. sigh!
