    Pending PR but want to leave Canada short term

    Is this possible to head back to my home country for a couple of months? or will it effect my PR case? My work visa is up for renewal an I'm considering not renewing it and just heading home for a few months until PR comes in. Is there a timeline I can leave? Will leaving my job effect my PR?
