No, it will not be updated on tracker. It will only show on your GCMS notes. On tracker, Eligibility will show Not Started or In Progress. In my case, they did not ask me to send any documents, I proactively sent them. Hope this helps.- novemberrain

My guess is that the junior officer cannot make a decision and requires the senior officer to do a thorough review of the case. Yes, I've seen it. And as people discuss this, they say that this might be an indicator of a non-routine application. I'm not sure about this. You can call IRCC and apply for the GCMS notes to see if there is any additional information for your case.- novemberrain

To me, ghost updates are usually an indicator of something happening on the backend. My case is slightly different! After they invited me for the virtual oath, I requested an in-person one.
