    Anyone else for May with an update of AOR? I'm at day 47 today, so I hope I hear soon... I don't think I could handle it being returned a third time, so I'm on edge about that.

    When I look at the tracker, it looks like people receive it the same day or up to about 7-10 days apart. Did you get one and not the other?

    I don't know the legalities of this. What province are you in - it's best to speak to a organization that handles refugee issues and/or a lawyer. Your messages read as someone who is just trying to obtain PR in Canada. Why would you claim asylum in Canada if you want to go back to your home...

    No. If you have refugee status you came here due to fear of persecution, torture or cruel treatment. Why would you even think to go back? If you go, you risk not being allowed to return and you will have no protected status from the Canadian Government.

    Yes, I would imagine traveling to India is costly but also takes a lot of time and is exhausting. Just be available on the phone as suggested by IRCC and type out the letter for your husband to take to the embassy with him the day of the interview.
