    As I understand, he had to apply H&C to overcome the inadmissibility. Otherwise he can simply do a spousal sponsorship application. When that happens, he is going into queue the one for H&C applications.

    I have the same application as well. Since you are inadmissible, they will consider your application under h&c not spousal. I have been waiting for 22 months for it.
