    Delayed Application

You may have news anytime soon. Today, an October 2024 applicant shared that he got P1. For now, I don’t think applying for the notes would give you any important information about your application. Waste of time and will let you more anxious. And no, the notes won’t change the processing time...

    January 2025, Inland Spousal Sponsorship

It seems that IRCC did not come back from the Christmas/New Year break. I haven’t seen anyone reporting P1/P2/COPR since then. That’s very concerning for all applications given this delay. Applicants from December and January 2024 so quiet and a lot of who is waiting for CoPr since December...

April 2025 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

You might have your medical request in April, 2026. I have seen that applicants get this request after 12 months. P1 and P2 have been sent a month later. But pay attention: background check can take several months.

    Spousal sponsorship

If you tell to the CBSA officer that you are planning to marry your gf, you might have your entry into Canada deny. Visitor visa does not give you the right to plan for a stay in Canada.

When to apply for SOWP- out of status

Your answer is a bit confused for who does not understand the process for family sponsorship. To be clear: Applicants out of status can apply to become Permanent Resident in Canada under family sponsorship, but for OWP only after Approval in Principal (AIP).

December 2024 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

Yes, "completed" means passed. I’ve noticed that IRCC is slowing down the processing time. Before, many applicants received their medical request around 8 months after submitting their application. Now, it’s taking about 11 months.
