When you applied you choose the way to keep correspondence. If you have ircc account, it's normal they only use that channel. Unless you stats something different.
My lawyer told me eligibility letter is a formality. It Means nothing and you dont have to answer. Many times they dont send that letter because specially for us, refugees, already here in Canada, it is just a pointless step.
I dont know but in the canada webpage appears this info.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/corporate-initiatives/levels/supplementary-immigration-levels-2026-2028.html
Well maybe they start with the oldest. I know there are people still from 2022. So probably will follow same order but fastest thatn now because there is no cap like it was.
Well they refund if you paid for it. As refugee claimant you are waived. So if you paid, they sent it back. When they check criminality is when they check your biometrics.
They confirm or refuse same day. If approved, they will keep your travel doc and return it by mail. If refused, they will give your doc back same day during interview.
Maybe they will cutoff and keep the rest for further processing. It's supposed they wont accept again or allow many people claiming. So they expect wont have such number of cases in future.
I think it is only for people who already applied and are part of the huge backlog. They want like to start from zero. But nobody knows as they still no give more details.
Dotn want you to be dissapointed but for me took 6 months!
But it is suppposed now they are giving the notice faster. So I heard one month is in typical waiting time.
