    Sure, you can go alone and get your part done. But your dependents (i.e. wife and daughter) will not become PR if they don't land afterwards (before the COPR expires). The address for the same province would be ideal.

    How do you plan to return to Canada? If you are going for the land border (walking across the rainbow bridge for example), you can use your passport, eCOPR, driver license and the PR card in question. You can explain your situation with the border officer.

    How about after landing, you leave your wife and daughter in Canada and then return to take care of your dad? Your wife and daughter can go to visit you during school holidays. Btw, if your wife is the principal applicant, then let her and your daughter go to Canada together to do the landing...

    How does one know they were checked randomly by the officer or not? Even if they bring cash less than 10k, officer still ask the amount people bring into Canada.
